I LOVE the convenience of meal replacement shakes when I feel too nauseous to chew and swallow, but I've come to realize the importance of chewing to signal my brain that we are, in fact, consuming a meal. Still, while I am taking antibiotics, I will keep this shake trick in my back pocket until I can eat again.
