Hello everybody, I’d appreciate if someone could answer this.

Last month I lost a good 8 pounds and this month I’ve only lost 2. I don’t understand why I have only lost this much despite working out everyday and staying on track with my calorie deficit.

:(( I am grateful that I haven’t gained but I’m still a bit upset about only loosing this much despite my efforts.

From my experience it’s a lot of factors.. your metabolism adjusts, and your gaining muscle. For me my weight has been the same for over a month but I’ve lost a ton of fat, as evidence by my muscles popping and new veins that I didn’t know I had.

If you're working out maybe you're gaining muscle. And remember that muscle weights more that fat.

When you first start eating less (and probably less junky food), your body will use its stored sugars first, which are bound up with water molecules before it takes out stored fat. Your body releases that water pretty quickly, so the weight loss does not represent much fat loss. Once that has been processed, then the deficit will come from fat and possibly muscle, if you are not exercising. BTW it takes a lot longer than a week to put on any appreciable muscle.But do keep exercising and eating quality food!
