Feeling pretty good today despite being at least 2 stones over weight. No booze for a few days works wonders, I've shed nearly half a stone and given myself a little zest again, imagine what it would feel like to be 13 stone again after nearly 30 years! I'm very aware the quick weight loss is at it's end now and I need to have faith in my ability to commit to this on an ongoing basis. I'm hoping the benefit of being part of a small community will help. I'm very fortunate that I actually like eating veg and salad and don't have a sweet tooth. Not drinking gives me sugar cravings which seem to be held at bay by drinking honey and lemon...we'll see!

Thank you, at 60 it still surprises me that we as human beings, need each other.

Of course we do.. .human connection! My uncle gave me a card, that I keep, it's a black and white picture of 3 women sitting at a table all in different stages of laughter with giggling faces,,,it's captioned,,'laughter is the shortest distance between friends'....true!❤️
