Today I was absolutely exhausted! I knew I was tired when I started thinking about cheating on my diet, lol. I thought about every cake, pie and desert imaginable. My solution wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst either. I always keep a jar of homemade trailmix (peanuts, raisins & peanut/regular M&Ms)at my bedside for a late night craving fix. This worked really well when I was just trying to maintain my weight, but up until today I have stayed away from it during Atkins induction.

To be honest with myself, I think the 1/2 of girl scout cookie kick starting a sugar craving. Although I was proud of myself for throwing the cookie away after taking a bite, I have to TOTALLY refrain from ANY indulgence.

Now if I can just figure out how to keep my energy level where it needs to be.

I love Jillian Michaels! Yes she so rocks. So my question to you is how are you loosing 7 pounds a week on Atkins? Come on share? Also, what a powerful scripture; God is what keeps me going!

To be completely honest, I think the initial 7lbs was due to water weight and the calorie reduction schock to my body, lol. I weighed in as soon as I got to work that morning and my started weight was recorded at the end of a workday and I was terribly bloated that day. We'll see how many "true" pounds came off when I weigh in again in a couple of days. Also, good scriptures are what keeps me going. My diet discipline is directly related to my spiritual discipline, so as I encourage myself spiritually, I tend to stay stronger on my diet journey.
