I am happy! I did my walking workout DVD today. I am trying to lose weight with it instead of paying $35th a month for the gym. That was ridiculous! I loved the gym but my wallet didn't like it. I'm on a budgeting journey right now and that would be a big blow in my budget. So I got my walking DVD and my Taebo workout as well. I had lost a lot of weight doing Taebo before and I hoping to again.

Most of my exercise is walking. Saves the body, clears the mind. You could ask if they'd let you stock shelves at work sometimes which would be the equivalent of getting paid to lift.

Walking was the first big change I made and honestly I think it was the best! I'd recommend setting step goals and increasing a little each week. I started at 300 steps per day and now I get 10k per day as just part of my routine.

I saw this post yesterday and got off the couch and went out for a walk in the rain with two dogs and umbrella. Thanks for the motivation!

+1 on the walking. #1 for fat loss. I remember that TaeBo dude. Pretty sure that would give me a stroke.

Good job! Not sure where you live but here on west coast is a gym called EOS. You can get membership for as low as $10 a month. At home workouts work well too though! As long as you keep moving, it's all good!

Walking is my favorite workout.. sometimes while walking I would do a little faster paced walk and then back to the regular walk . then fast pace to regular pace.. to get my heart rate up a tad..

You can get a really good start working an exercise program at home. How is your walking program going. Slowly increasing your time and distance? It is still a great, free tool to keep in your weight loss plan.
