re: Cycle ie Menstruation cycle. I'm trying to establish if there's a correlation between this cycle and the days I'm looking for my bed all day.

Yes, you've got it. Why is it not right? I think hormonal fluctuation can influence a lot of how we feel. And 15 days into cycle would be approx. the time of ovulation.

Too much sugar always made me want to go to bed and sleep. Now I keep my sugars below 50 grams a day, unless I don't plan properly.

Deb is right, processed sugar gives you at first energy but then you lose it very fast and feel week. Not the case with natural sugars from fruits. They make you feel wonderful. If I feel like crying when watching TV even when it's a happy scene than I know it's hormones.
