Oops, forgot to write a journal yesterday. I'm trying to do it every day.

Yesterday was important because I thought the reason I wasn't losing weight was a combination of Friday's food and my love for 300 calorie beers. Part of my problem actually deals with working night shifts at Friday's while having blood sugar issues. I have to eat breakfast, I have to eat lunch...and I have to eat before my shift starts or I won't make it through the shift. So that's three meals right there. However, that early dinner isn't enough to make it to bedtime, so I have to eat again when I get done with a shift. I don't always eat small amounts at both dinners either because standing on your feet and running around or six or seven hours kinda makes you hungry...and my eyes are often larger than my stomach. I'm going to go ahead and blame this as my main problem area: eat two SMALL dinners, not two normal ones! I'm going to work on this the most.

And today will not be a big loser. It IS St. Patty's day. For some reason I tend to eat more on this day as well. A couple beers will be consumed. My saving grace will be yoga, two small meals (one before and one after yoga; it makes me eat lighter too, so I don't have to worry about the above problem!), and the fact my beers won't be 300 calories tonight but 95. This is the only time this year I'm allowing myself to drink a domestic beer as it's in my New Year's Resolution to drink good beer alllll year round but this day because I can't deny the awesome that is green beer.

We'll see how it turns out. I'm doing really poorly so far.
