laura78's Journal, 29 Apr 09

Well, yesterday was better than Day 1. I did feel exhausted in the afternoon but I took a small nap and felt reenergized afterwards. I tried a new tilapia recipe that I found on this forum and I loved it. It was delicious. I haven't noticed the scale numbers going down yet but I have noticed my clothes fitting a little bit better. One thing I did notice yesterday was that I started having an urge for just giving up and forgetting the whole thing. My mom is actually following the diet along with me and my husband but she was ready to give up yesterday b/c she says she's been craving sweets like crazy. I advised her on the jello and popsicles and said she would try them. Once I heard say, "Maybe we could start next week", I thought that might be something worth thingking about. But then I figured, I've already started, might as well keep at it. My husband and I are trying to have a baby but I really need to lose some weight to turn my PCOS around. That right there is great motivation for me. We'll see how this goes.

to get through to lunch you need some protein and veggies in the am...i know its hard to eat early...but for the first 14 days its necessary...even if it is just a salad or veggies in your eggs...hope this helps
