my bmr is 1200 cals so i have to eat less than that right?

That seems low to me. You don't have a lot of weight to lose for your goal. Bmr is just what you burn to live and maintain current systems. Any activity will increase the number of calories out. Even sleeping burns calories. My Fitbit says I burn average 3200q day between bmr and activity level. Granted that seems high because I'm gaining at 3000 cals a day (I want to gain). A Google search will provide estimated calorie out calculators. Search tdee calculator. Hope this helps some.

No it's not okay you need 1200 cal.a day it's not healthy to eat less than that believe me I tried
