I have been sick for over a week. I'm not able to eat the full size meals I used to, which you would think is a good thing! However, I'm totally bloated and I've gained weight. I wish my body could "get it together," as a friend of mine says. I lose weight while I'm pregnant and gain it while I'm breastfeeding (totally opposite of the rest of the world).
I have to say though, Zig Ziglar is right when he says motivation comes from action. This weekend I finally got some homework done and I felt really good afterwards and wanted to do more. I feel this way when I make it to the gym. I need to start ignoring the tired feeling and go anyway.
In my car's CD player is an audiobook called "The Now Habit," which I plan to start this afternoon. In addition, I'm going to force myself to only work 9 hours today and I WILL go to the gym on my way home. I left my gym shoes in the passenger seat to remind myself.
