Cavmj's Journal, 09 Oct 14

The past week I have been struggling with low energy while working out. Which has caused me to stop in the middle of my workout. I think there are a few items to account for this. The first item is I have increased the intensity of my workouts to soon (every 2 weeks) including some jogging. But at my current weight of 280lbs I may have to wait on adding jogging for now until I lose more weight. The second is my food intake is about 1000 kcal below my normal RDI, which I have been doing for awhile now. The third possible reason is not getting enough sleep at 6 hours a night but I don't have any urges to take any naps. Any thoughts? Mike

Try to get 8 hours of sleep every night and see if your energy level goes up. If it does, then that problem is solved. If not, your low energy could mean that your B vitamin is low. Do you take a daily vitamin?

Deb_N thank you for your comments. I will try to get more sleep. The challenge with that is my body is naturally waking up at 6 hrs of sleep. I don't take vitamins but I will check into that. I appreciate the advice. Mike

Six hours of sleep seems to be my average lately, but I had an early appointment this morning and should have gone to sleep early last night. I did not do it, and when I calculated my sleep this morning it was 3 1/2 hours. My fault that my sleep was deficient. I will compensate for it tonight! Hope you get enough sleep.
