Halloween was awesome! I am so thankful that I get to enjoy the holiday through the eyes of little kids! My almost 3yo daughter is just amazed that a day could be so great that you get to knock on people's door and ask for candy!

Okay - the festivities were fun, but the food & candy aspect was DIFFICULT! I ate 2 pieces of candy yesterday. Not too bad! BUT - I ate a lot of 3 layer dip with tortilla chips. I couldn't walk away. I have no idea why I was so drawn to those yummy, creamy, salty layers of goodness! LOL Even with 300 calories of exercise credited, I busted my RDI by 300. This too shall pass. Now... What to do with the mounds of candy that my kids brought home? Do parents really let their kids eat all that junk? I want to secretly siphon it into the garbage each night. There is NO WAY that I'm going to let them eat all that! I can't keep those buckets of sugar sitting around the house - I don't have that much self control!

We used to eat it all but we had paper lunch bags not buckets. Even then I was only just finishing in time for Christmas. Luckily sweets aren't my problem.

Get it out of the house as soon as possible. It is a temptation you really don't need. I am sending my leftovers to work with the hubby. Good luck.
