so all the trouble I've had with my insides and my gums it turns out is part of my latex allergy. that's sucks. the doctor had me go on a latex friendly diet just to see if it made a difference. oh boy did it. inflammation in my gums cleared cleared right up. no gut issues what so ever. no bloat no nausea. sounds great right. it means no potatoes avocados banana tomatoes kiwis. so far carrots pears and celery does not bother me. they also did an allergy test. I have to be careful with apples because of my tree allergy, I have a mold allergy so nothing fermented. or mushrooms. coffee is sketchy lol. dust allergy no peanuts. different times of year no cucumbers, I mean this list of my allergies is huge. apparently I can have air lol. sunlight is even bad because of my pmle! air is sketchy because of pollen and asthma lol. then you have my lactose intolerance. this is depressing lol

I am allergic to latex on my skin but in food? Never heard about that! Bless you!

Yes the more exposure the worse it can get. Google latex allergy foods. If your having any problems with your insides, like nausea, gerd, bloat, gas, ibs or anything bowel or stomach related and u have a latex allergy it could b food related too. To check this Google the food list. Stay completely away from ALL of them for 3 weeks see if your symptoms clear up. Then reintroduce them 1 at a time. 1 a week to see which 1 u react to. So far I do not react to pears, carrots, or celery. Becareful. Nightshade is another to Becareful of. You can check it the same way.

erikahollister your right as frustrating as it is getting I'm learning. My health is better. My weight is moving in the right direction again. And I'm learning the work arounds for things. Ok I can't have potatoes but I can have parsnips and turnips. I can't have lasagna but I can have white lasagna. I can't have Marana but I can have basil pesto.

I learned that I have Celiac, which cut out a whole world of foods that I once loved, but it is so amazing to get rid of the ill effects, which in y case were mental health issues (depression, rage). My life is so much better without gluten!

That's amazing they tested me that as well. Thankfully I don't have that. I was anemic an it was causing the depression and lack of b12 and d 3 was causing other problems including brain fog. I wasn't absorbing anything because of inflammation everywhere. From my gums straight through and out the other end. Then the gastroenterologist is like your allergic to latex right. Can u eat bananas? And we got to talking about how certain foods do my mouth and suggested I try the no latex food diet. I did and omg within a month all my problems cleared up. My dentist last month even fave me a fist bump he was so excited to see him nice my gums looked. All these yrs in misery and it was the food. Wow.

Look up 'oil pulling'. It's a coconut oil mouth swish that gets the toxins out of your mouth. It helped a whole lot of random symptoms for me. Also D3 is absorbed a whole lot better if combined with K2. I buy a combo.
