Oh, I'm so sorry to hear you have to deal with that. You need to have a serious talk with your SO. Ask if s/he wants you to succeed and spell out exactly what you need.

Yea he just got off work early and brought in buttermilk waffles with berries and whipped topping. My favorite from this little shop. It's doable little treat sometimes but I can't eat no lunch it has to be a brunch thing to keep my calories in check.

But this week he's also brought me home chocolate torte and chicken Alfredo which together would have killed my calorie count

mine likes to bring home cookies, but I make myself a healthy dessert so I don't even have to touch the cookies.

My daughter does that. Last summer she openly said she was trying to derail my diet. She baked cookies brownies tarts and all kinds of other stuff. What is a dad to do!? She is 11 and baking and really good at it! I just knuckled down and ate what she baked, in reasonable amounts, and used the calorie intake for my guide. If I had lots to spare I’d eat extra cookies, in this case I made extra to spare as her chocolate chips cookies are sone of the best I’ve ever eaten !

My husband buys junk food and says the whole house isn't on a diet so I try to have self control. Majority of the time I do and some days I get a sweet tooth

Your S.O. is probably pointing out 2 things: you’re not as fun when you’re policing your food, and he feels guilty that he’s not trying to lose weight with you. My advice is that you give him fair warning about sabotaging your diet. Then the next time he brings home desserts or junk food, immediately dump the whole thing down the garbage disposal. Then do your Victory Dance 💃.

My husband eats lots of processed desserts like funny bones, anything tastee cakes, Oreos etc...Luckily I don't like those kind of desserts so it's ok...but if he brings home a homemade type dessert...watch out! lol
