PantherIII's Journal, 26 Apr 11

Hit the gym for an 1 hour 40 minutes yesterday and really pushed it hard. 40 minutes of the precor machine and then 1 hour of body design (full body light weight workout). I felt like I could have stayed on the precor machine for another hour, and body design had my muscles tired.. but not me :) I noticed a huge weight loss between yesterday morning and this morning so I thought I would make note. Weight yesterday morning was 171.6, this morning it was right at 169.8, same hydration both days. If it falls off this fast throughout the week I will be OVERLY intrigued. Diet was not restricted yesterday either, actually ate a few more calories than I intended too. Today will be a back & biceps workout w/30 minutes cardio.

I did 700 calories on the eliptical and made sure I was doing some sort of heart-pumping 1 - 2 minute sessions of cardio in between my weight training sets. I am FEELING it today. Can't wait to try some of these workout suppliments that you recommended on my thread. I am checking out GNC this Friday - I hope they can shed some light on the best energy boost stuff for my workout. Happy that you are at 169.8 - gives me hope I can get rid of the weight I packed on this weekend as well.

:)thank ya, thank ya. My personal opinion, stay as far away from GNC as ya can. If you have a Supplement Giant go there, better customer service, better prices, better supplements. If you don't have one, get your stuff on bodybuilding.com, I have had nothing but negative experiences with GNC. I think the only thing I would ever purchase at GNC is Jack3d. Once again, if you can manage to get your hands on a canister of Clout, it is by far your best bet. I don't use it anymore, but that's only because I don't want to start gaining more bulk then cut.

I'm not looking to gain any bulk!!! I only want more energy to get through my workouts without feeling like I want a nap midway! And sadly, we don't have a Supplement Giant - the only place around here is GNC! I've never even heard of a Supplement Giant!! Hopefully, the GNC people are better trained out here then they are by you. I'll let you know how it goes - I could very well leave with nothing.

I think it's more the prices and selection at GNC that bugs me the most. If you do get a pre-workout supplement from there make sure u research it personally before purchasing.. unless it's jack3d. Commission is a dangerous thing to consumers :)

Chiming In: You might want to check out DPS nutrition (dpsnutrion.net). They are stationed in Pennsylvania and may have some good prices with cheap shipping since it is relatively close to you.

I wish I could buy online, but I am so lost - I don't know which suppliments work for women and which don't. All the ones I look at really seem like they are for men and complete muscle gain. UGH.

Don't worry about that "muscle look" allie, that is unless you start taking a testosterone.
