Try to not dwell on it. Just do your best to eat right. Next week will be here before you know it.

Try not to be discouraged!! Pain is a huge trigger for me as well. Eating is a distraction from the pain. But @MorticiaAddams is right - just try your best, that’s all you can do. You will have your surgery, and you will get back on track. Wishing you a safe surgery and a fast recovery!!

Have a great and beneficial surgery with a fast recovery. Glad you lost weight, My deceased hubby had 20 years of heart and cancer issues (the big one being lung cancer). His doctor insisted he maintain a healthy weight before surgery. You are ready.

I had my gallbladder removed last May. I expected recovery to take a couple of weeks, but it was only a few days until I was up and moving. The best thing is no more pain from the gallstones. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Trying to maintain a low fat/fat free diet can decidedly be a challenge before surgery, but at least it will get you prepared for the lifestyle change you'll need to make after. Hopefully you are checking labels and restaurant nutrition pdf's already to help avoid further gallstone attacks. Fingers crossed that surgery next week goes smoothly as does your recovery.

I hope your surgery and recovery goes well. Making lifestyle changes can be a little daunting; however, once the change is embraced - you’ll be great! Take care and know that you are supported! It takes a FS Village!!😊

You will be fine and you will not gain a whole bunch of weight from the recovery - it does not take long for recovery - you have done so well and lost so much weight - just eat well - stay portioned - concentrate being healthy - you will not have that pain any more - try to be happy - it will be okay!

If you're having it out you probably won't be eating heavy. Or at least I wouldn't recommend it! If you over eat it will let you know!
