I have given into the fact that I have gained a few pounds over the last couple weeks...I wasn't going to weigh in until I dropped it back off but it's just not happening...maybe this will be the motivation. My parents came up 2 weekends ago and my dad had the flu so I haven't felt right since, perhaps that's playing a part....definitely not happy with myself, I can do better though and I will today forward!!!

I blame it on this particular season: between family, friends and preparing for Christmas day, time becomes a highly valuable commodity...plus we still have to work, so there's even more time gone. And, then, there's all the food made available when spending time with friends and family....oh yeah, and the holiday luncheons/parties at work. Finally, when you do get some time for exercise, you realize how cold it is outside and decide to skip it. Or is all of this just me?

So true....it's a time of convenience....LOTS of eating out lately, which I loathe....I feel like a big bloated cow, doubling my fiber and water until Christmas, gotta get back to feeling good!!! Good thing is though that hubby would like to join me once Christmas is over so that'll make it easier too...

Hang in there. This is a tough time of year. Drinking lots of water does help a lot, staves off the hunger and keeps us flushed out.

Thanks guys! You really are the best, I definitely need to get myself back into the swing of things....crimes of convenience and definitely not as much water as I WAS drinking....silly me! I know better!

My thoughts exactly. At least you DID weigh in. Good for you not avoiding it (like me).
