does anyone have any tips on tracking calories. I have always used myfitnespal which I love but have never bothered weighing my food and have just guessed amounts which I think might be where I'm going wrong. it's just so difficult when you're cooking a meal for your family and have to weigh everything. I did buy some scales off Amazon a while back that were meant to connect to an app on my phone but I couldn't get the app to work so I sent them back. any tips would be really helpful

You should just get some good old fashioned scales and some scoops. It is a pain to begin with but you soon get used to it. You probably will get a shock when you realise how small your portions should be! Once you get an idea of correct portion sizes you might not have to keep weighing.

it is a pain in the beginning but u soon get used to it. if u save the meal once u have weighed it u can choose from ur saved meals list. once u weighed something a few times u can more or less know how much something weighs. hope this helps xx
