What do you normally have for breakfast (when you're not in a hurry)?

I'll normally eat a toasted english muffin or bagel with Cream Cheese :). If I have more time, I'll cook an egg and toast. :D

Maybe try adding a little more protein? It should help keep you feeling full for a longer period of time.

Adding protein is a great idea. If I eat a bagel....I am starving an hour later....unless I add protein or make it a whole grain one.

You are not alone in temptations. Apart from a weight goal, I've given up coffee and soda. Except I'm drinking a Coke Zero right now! This is my second one so far this year. I've been good on the coffee though, which is an epic accomplishment for me.

I usually have 3 egg whites, 2 pieces of microwave bacon, 2 cups of skim milk, and 2 scoops of whey protein. It gives a good amount of protein, gives me a good start to my day, and keeps me feeling full for about 3-4 hours (just in time for my next meal).

You should check out nerdfitness.com. It's a pretty awesome site. We talk about nutrition, exercise and all kinds of stuff. There is a 6 week challenge where you set some goals for yourself, and depending on how you do, you level up. The idea is that you are leveling up your life.

lol that's fair, but you don't have to spend the money to do it. There's actually a great community in the free section. If you go to nerdfitness.com, then click community, you'll see the 6 week challenge. All of the rules are there as well as the support for you from others. :) I'm on there too. I'm a ranger. And at the very least, the mailing list has a lot of good info. It's up to you, I just thought I'd extend the offer...
