It's a really yucky day here, and I'm wishing I hadn't RSVP'd for a luncheon today. Not only do I have to trek a good distance in heavy rain, but also...the dreaded "eating food I didn't prepare myself." I keep telling myself that I can't live in a bubble, I still have to live my life and that means I can't always eat at home. I have other responsibilities. The luncheon is catered, and while the food always tastes good I'm not so sure it's always been prepped in the healthiest way. I just wish it wasn't on a week when I'm already barely below last weeks weight.

I was down about .4 lbs today, which is really only .2 lbs below my last recorded weigh-in. The walking is making a huge difference. I walked a half mile/11 minutes again yesterday. I learned something cool...the app that came with my phone maps my walk and also shows me my speeds along the route. There were times I was making surprisingly good time, but some slight hills slowed me down. I won't walk today, because of weather and my other commitments, but will probably do 11 minutes again tomorrow and hopefully next week try to add a few more minutes.

Had oatmeal with wild blueberries for breakfast, and will skip my morning snack since the luncheon is fairly early. Will have grapes for an afternoon snack and pulled chili from the freezer for dinner (with a salad). Trying to keep every meal I can control today small and simple. Looking at my nutrition over the past week, I think I may be getting too much protein which might be impacting my weight also. I have been focusing so much on getting my fruits and veggies, and meeting my calcium intake, I hadn't really noticed I'm getting more protein than I should.
