What do they tell you the problem is.? Retired nurse here— just get nosy and concerned when I see people struggling to get medical issues diagnosed and either resolved or treatment started.

Because I have diabetes my stomach dumps slowly therfore my bowels dump slowly causing constpation and then my stomach and abdomen get air trapped and causes severe pain then I get dehydrated and weak also I can't eat causing this time dryheves last I was worse cause I was throughing up bile on top of everything else. Side bar they also found two very large hernias in my stomach/abdomen sorry I didn't mean to get so carried away. So as I said in my earlier post prayer and good vibes are requested and appreciated

I read your bio and with your weight and the associated medical issues. I see that getting those pounds off has become an emergency and not just an aesthetic option..it is also a life saving issue because you would not be a great surgical candidate and that is where your problems are headed if you develop a bowel obstruction. You have had this issue for a while I’m guessing so I’m sure the docs have given you instructions regarding diet (types of foods) that would work best to help prevent this problem from recurring, but I am going to throw out some thoughts, questions, suggestions for you to consider or to ask your doctor about. Has a lower fiber diet, especially insoluble fiber, been suggested? In your situation your body may not be producing enough hydrochloric acid to dissolve the insoluble fiber that you eat. One useful tool is to drink COKE. It doesn’t matter which type, diet or regular. Coke has the same ph as stomach acid and can help dissolve built up fiber that is not getting processed. It also contains sodium bicarbonate which can help with the gas. Eat small amounts at a time— CHEW your food thoroughly. DO NOT EAT AT NIGHT after your dinner. Your gut needs a rest . Digestion naturally slows down at night so that the body can concentrate on healing and repair, consequently the Food still remaining in your digestive system now is processed and moved even more slowly than yours already is. Walk at least 15 minutes after each meal. This is crucial and should not even be considered an option but a requirement. Going slowly isn’t a problem, just stand up and keep moving. The hernias are May also be causing a mechanical blockage, just to add another layer of complexity to your situation. Discus some of these things with your doctor and get his input. Ask to see a dietician regarding what is best for you to eat and help you fine tune whatever eating plan you are trying to follow. Water, of course.

Thank you for the suggestions and advice. This time around I am paying closer attention to the possible causes. I forgot about the dietitian. Monday I will get on that, again thanks for the information.
