I am back on FS. Its been a while and I have made both good and bad decisions since I left. I ballooned back to 256.7 then realized that I was feeding my stress and decided to make changes.
De-stressed by finding a better career path for myself and also established that I cannot stress about every single thing. While I have lost about 13 lbs, it was better a month ago as I was down to around 238. I can see the weight coming back so i need to get back off the grains and dairy and hit the proteins and veggies/fruit.
I am back and it feels good.

Thank you itsmeonlyfatfree! I need to be accountable to myself and honestly, if you don't track what you eat then you really don't know your cal count.

I am the same way which reminds me. I ate a small peanut butter brownie last night and did not record. You know why???? Cause I should not have eaten it!!! That will not happen again! The eating part, not the not recording part, lol.

itsmeonlyfatfree, I think that too often I say.."Let me eat this and worry about it tomorrow." The problem is that I have done that a lot and then i don't even keep track. I mean these past two weeks I have grown lazy in my eating habits and poof 6 lbs appeared like nothing. I need discipline and this website is a good way of keeping myself honest.

Not glad that you gained from poor habits so quickly but glad that I can relate to you. The minute I let my guard down, geez headed the opposite direction and FAST

Its so crazy how the weight creeps back up. I think what happens is that those small "cheating" moments with food add up quickly and next thing you know, your gains are lost. I am hoping that this time, with the help of FS and tracking every morsel, I will see the gains come back and my progression begin anew.

I am sure you will have success! Staying focused and honest is key, I keep telling myself this is not rocket science. I am an engineer. If I can do my job well, no reason I can't lose the weight I want to lose, get fit and be happy, finally!
