Well, I'm almost at the end of Day 2 ( I know, big deal to some of you who have been working at this for a while!), and I feel like I can actually do this. I have always been a meat eater, and I like eggs, so I'm excited by some of the recipes I've seen and foods I'd like to try now that I have to look at foods other than the breads and treats I'm used to shoving in my face. My hardest time seems to be about 4 to 5 pm, when the babysitting kids are getting set to go and I'm looking forward to having... whatever isn't good for me. I'll admit that today I definitely went over the alloted amount of peanuts for my afternoon snack; I think that it was the salt that I needed just then. Sugar and salt are my big snack draws. I've decided not to weigh in for a full week- if this works for me I'll be looking for bigger payoffs than half a pound at a time. I invested in a good scale, one that measures BMI, body fat and hydration levels and compares your current weight against previous days as well as your goal weight. I'm looking forward to weighing in. I really want to see my little blue line start to take its downward path!
