I saw this quote yesterday and it resonated in my head all night. I can apply it to so many different things, but particularly my latest weight-loss journey. I've been pretty bummed because the scale is moving sooooo sloooowly. I know I haven't been perfect, but I do stay in my RDI and for the last 9 days I've stepped up my activity level. Still, it feels like nothing is happening.

UNTIL today! A week or two ago, I mentioned how I had to squeeze into those capris. This morning, I pulled them on and up and didn't even have to lay on the bed to zip them :)

I had an Ah Ha! moment. Watching my stupid scale is like watching paint dry. Or, planting a seed and then hovering over it waiting for a flower to bloom. It doesn't make the process any faster. So, I'm not going to put so much weight on what the scale says and instead focus on how I feel.
