One week back and I’m down about 5lbs. Very happy to see the scale moving in my direction, but I know initially it’s a lot of water weight. But truthfully I’ve been very conscious of what I’m eating and drinking and have exercised quite a bit.

The major things I’ve cut out are 2 daily Vanilla Mocha Coffees (apparently not zero calories - replaced with black coffee, unsweetened green tea or plain water), my daily beer with dinner (now water), a calzone once or twice a week (replaced by healthy salad), and I haven’t stopped at fast food all week. Motivated right now but we’ll see if/when the wheels fall off in social situations.

My motivation: We’re headed to Hawaii in December and I really want to look good with my shirt off!

vanilla extract is a great add to coffee if you still want some vanilla flavor 😁

I use sugar free Torani Vanilla syrup (in the coffee aisle. but quite a bargain at amazon)
