I personally have never lost weight going to the gym. What I’ve come to realize is that for me, weight is lost at the kitchen table but i am correcting my high blood pressure and getting stronger at the gym. Combining the gym with a diet that is being checked daily is an amazing tool.

Very true about the diet and exercise. You can be thin but still have high blood pressure if you consume food with high sodium, or have high cholesterol if you spend years eating a diet high in saturated fats. Adding exercise will raise your good cholesterol (HDL) and strengthen your heart muscle, but it only takes you so far. Gotta do both for healthy insides & outsides.
