Tagkido's Journal, 20 Jan 23

I’m off to Oklahoma City for work for the weekend, away from the predictability of my normal food and comfort scale. Panera bread and Starbucks oatmeal will be my go-to’s to (hopefully) keep me from destroying all the great progress I’ve made.

Last month when I was here I ate a huge Taco Bell bag of garbage food, plus a Braum’s greasy cheeseburger and strawberry shake - that was just one meal! No more bingeing! I need to learn to make smart decisions when I’m not home and refrain from “going wild”.

Hi. I do a ton of traveling for work. Out of laziness I would eat out the whole time. Along the way I changed my habits. My first day I grocery shop for salads, fruit, water. Not sure if you have any flexibility where you stay but I have been lucky I get my job to get me a hotel room that has a kitchen most of the time. My go to’s when I have to eat out are an Olive Garden salmon dinner or chipolte chicken bowl, just hate the sodium. You can make healthier choices almost anywhere you go. And if you do good on the road just imagine how much easier it will be when you get home. Keep up the good work
