Ok, so we’re getting back on the wagon. It’s becoming nice out so there is no excuse for not going out for a walk or bike ride or both everyday. We have been walking more recently, but winter is horrible. I don’t want to go out in the cold and I won’t take Baby out if it’s below freezing. I did go for my first bike ride today, it was only 1.7 miles, but it was a start. Mostly I just wanted to see in Baby would still be good with it.
I really should lift weights or do other inside exercises. We have a nice elliptical that I’ve used maybe 2 whole times. I just hate that kind of exercise. I get on the elliptical and I don’t care if I’m watching a show or listening to a book or whatever, I am just immediately bored and lose all interest. Where as my husband can just put on some music and go to town lifting weights.
It’s the same goals as always, go figure, cause I know how to lose weight, I just suck at it. I’m going to try something I haven’t done since my anorexic days and that is to literally log every single calorie that passes my lips as I eat it so I can see the number and decide if it’s worth it. And then when I get to my calorie limit, I’m done for the day. Doesn’t matter the time.
And as always my biggest thing is snacking. I don’t eat because I’m hungry probably 99% of the time.
Also, I hate to say this, but I really need to stop drinking so much coffee. Drinking coffee from the time I get up till the time I go to bed and pretty much nothing else isn’t good. I can’t find an exact answer as to how many oz my coffee maker brews for a half pot, but I drink that, plus another 10oz at work, then I make another half pot when I get home. A full pot makes 10 cups I think, but that’s in coffee oz, not real oz. It would stand to reason a half pot is half of a full pot, but based on the water reservoir it isn’t because I can’t make 2 half pots without refilling.
So, to recap,
1. Track all calories. Daily limit of 1,500
2. Walk or bike everyday
3. NO snacking!!!
4. No coffee after 2:30.
5. Start physical therapy again. 1 day a week work up to 5.
