Week 6 completed and I have reached my second 4kg mini-goal with a total of 8kg lost. I'm treating myself to a pair of Lorna Jane thermal leggings as a reward (ready for winter walks) 🥶 Even better they are on sale atm 😀 On the diet front, I made the mistake of eating a bread roll earlier in the week and found myself craving carbs for the rest of the week! 🫢 Having focused on fats for the past two weeks, I will therefore be looking at carbs this week. At the moment I am focusing on getting my carbs from fruit, veg, legumes, nuts & dairy, and excluding rice, bread & pasta. I'll probably reintroduce small amounts of grains after Week 12, starting with low GI wholegrain bread & rice/quinoa. Depends how the weight loss goes. I'm averaging about 20g fibre a day, so probably need a supplement. 🤗
