Hey Jon, just curious…
What is your current BF?
And, do you maintain that year round?
If so, do you cycle macro splits or use a common macro split most of the time?
I am still trying to work out the best macro split for me.
I was doing an even 40c 20f 40p. But, after reading some and experimenting it seems like I should go higher with carbs.
So, just curious is all.

gettingcut- I’ve never had my BF checked. If I had to guess, I’m probably somewhere near 12, give or take a few. I also don’t worry too much about percentage macros. I’m more concerned with total calories because my macros will fall where they fall if I hit everything I aim for: At least 1g/protein per lb lean mass, minimal fats, rest in carbs. I pretty much stay in this condition year-round, except around holidays when I tend to get a little soft 🍪 🥧 🤤. I wouldn’t be too concerned with the fat / carb ratio but I find a higher carb diet really helps with intense workouts and are more filling in general.

Wisco- Yes, a lot of time indeed. I became real familiar with a pull-up bar. Especially during the time when gyms were closed.

All the dedicated weightlifters on here look fabulous… I admire you all! But to me, your physique looks healthier than the overally bulky muscular body type. You look super strong but agile at the same time. Just my preference and to each their own but I think you look fantastic!!!

TUD- Thank you! That was exactly my thought when I was looking at this picture 😱🤦♂️. I’ve never actually taken time to notice my back, let alone try and take a picture of it. I tried to keep repositioning to take different shots but my back started cramping so I settled for what I got lol. Of course the only one where I was in frame and properly posing had the worst lighting. It’s all about the lighting! 💡

Thanks, Jon! I hope I can keep it up. Many times, I end up quitting and going back to bulking or maintaining because I do like the size and strength and superior workouts...
