Well, I had my doctor's appointment this morning and decided to go ahead and weigh myself in advance. I actually came in at 189.8 (but I round to the pound). I guess I did better on vacation than I thought.
While that is good news, the great news is the results from my diabetes doctor. A1c is 5.9 and she has taken me off all my diabetes medicine. She is leaving me on the Lisinopril as it helps protect the pancreas. Other than that, I am now medication free.
She also has asked me to GAIN some weight - how about that for a doctor's instruction. She wants me between 195 and 200; not really much but still a neat thing to hear a doctor say.
