I am really proud of myself. It is currently 1 am and I woke up so so hungry that I felt physically sick and couldn't sleep. My eating disorder was telling me to go to bed and not do anything about it. But I told myself to go and eat something, I just went and had two slices of bread with butter. I know that isn't very nutritional but I am very happy that I did that. I think that me feeling sick because of how hungry I am is my body telling me it isn't happy. Plus, I did a ton of walking today, another 260 calories really doesn't matter that much.

Bread and butter is better than a sugary snack (which is often carb, sugar and fat). Some carbs and fat are good for you in right proportion.

Learning to "Listen" to our bodies is probably the biggest challenge that any of us have to deal with. The destructive voices in our heads can be Really Loud. I try to remember that when people are yelling, it is because they're trying to Control me. Listening to the negative thoughts is how we defeat ourselves. No Way!

If you can handle it, use almond or peanut butter, or sub/add a banana and a cup of whole milk. This will tick up your protein and add a bit of fat and fiber which will make the same amount of calories make you feel full for longer, and be healthier at the same time.
