It is! And it’s as tasty is it is healthy! Steel cut oats with collagen, protein powder, flax, seeds, Chia seeds, cinnamon, and dash of vanilla extract. Topped with a tablespoon of mixed nuts I am in heaven! Give me a mug of almond milk and I’m good to go.

I need to cut back on the figs because they were getting overly ripe and almost moldy. I ended up having two several nights instead of the one that I usually have that’s got to change and if I have to throw some out, so be it.

Make fig jam. You can make it freezer jam if you don’t want to “water can” them. Really easy and it would be an awesome Christmas treat for some of your friends and family.

I just finished making my fig jam. Color is a bit off but I have green figs. They do turn purple when they get over ripe. It tasted delicious!

Enjoy, my neighbor's tree is bare, and growing season has ended.

Very sad to hear that! I’ll still be scouring the grocery stores just in case

I’m really loaded up last time. I found them at the grocery store. I think I got three containers worse! Pricey, but worth it. Only trouble is they’re so perishable and me only being able to eat one a day even refrigerated I would feel like some of these may need to be tossed.

Fresh figs are delightfully sweet, but not as sweet as the dried. They’re high in fiber and they’re moist and I love the way they look they’re so beautiful.

I can’t believe it but I just bought four more containers of fresh figs. I think that’s it for the season now because I don’t see any more in the store now I dun cleared them out lol.. my nutritionist actually was suggesting I illuminate the figs because they are high in carbs though they are healthy. I love my fresh figs, and since there’s so limited season wise, I’d rather eliminate carbs from another part of my diet, at least during fig season!
