Ran my 4th 5K in the neighborhood yesterday. Right at 36 minutes... 2 minutes slower than my last one. May have been too close to supper just an hour earlier. Mentally was thinking I was ready to stop at 1 mile, but I slowed my pace slightly and started setting mini goals..."just make it to that next street corner; just make it past the school". Before I knew it I was on the last 1/4 mile so all I had to do was figure out when to kick!
Also, since finishing my summer challenge at 185.5 lb, where I went from 27% bodyfat down to 24% , I have not measured bodyfat. Decided to last night and was happy to find at 189 lbs, I was down to 22% bodyfat!
