Sliced my own sashimi at home, getting better but still need to practice. Was so sad when I realized that we didn’t have wasabi in the fridge like I thought 🥲 will get some tomorrow.

Yum! Looks delicious. Where did you source your salmon? And how do you know it is sushi grade?

dlwinters95 - I get all my salmon/tuna for sashimi at H-Mart from the Poke and Sashimi section which is all “sushi-grade” fish. I’ve read you can get any salmon filet and freeze it at -20 for 7 days to make it sushi grade, but I’m worried somehow I’ll mess it up and get sick 😅
