I seem to be losing a lot of weight every week (around 4 lbs per week), but it is only the beginning of a low-carb, high protein (moderate fat) diet. My weight loss rate should decrease in the upcoming weeks.
My maximum BMI for my height (1.67 m or 5'5" 1/2) is about 150 lbs. My previous goal was to lose 10 lbs; now I would like to reduce my waistline to 35 in. at most (maximum for women to avoid or decrease risk of cardiovascular disease). I started at 38 in. in mid-October. I have high blood pressure and I am apple-shaped, so this is very important for me.
