Starting up a Single moms outreach in our community!!!!! One block at a time some very motivated ladies and myself are going to "adopt" a block in our community and door by door we'll hand out goodie bags that will include a motivational book to inspire them donated by a local christian book store also some Make-up, nail polish, lotion, bubble bath, chocolates and then some crayons/coloring books for their kiddos. It started when I got to thinking about when I was a single mom and the block I used to live on. Well that block is mission #1, and when we reach that block we'll go to another and another and another. Yes it will be time consuming and cost out of the pocket for some of it but 100% worth it for them to know the love of God. In about 6 months we will host a dining out for the ladies to come and enjoy a dinner, speaker and fondue chocolate fountains including strawberries, lb cake, pretzels, pineapple, etc... I'm very excited that God has placed this on our hearts and know we will impact their lives in a positive way. This is the love of God.
