Premeditatio Malorum: Today I will go into work and see the granola bars sitting in the kitchenette and will feel like I deserve it. I will have to fight the urge to take one and remind myself that my desire is to eat appropriately. I will hunger and by 11 am I will be distracted by my hunger. After I have my lunch I will want to have that granola bar, and again will need to remind myself what will give me better satisfaction: eating reasonably, like a human being or temporarily being sated by the sweetness and after continuing to desire the experience.

Bring an alternative to work so that if you have the urge to eat one you instead have something not as bad. I love sweets too and I know how hard it is to resist. But it's worse when I don't plan for those tempting moments.

And congrats on the drop another reason to ignore those granola bars.

Thanks for the tip ChicaLean, I usually bring a bunch of veggies to lunch with me (often more than I can eat). I'm usually pretty good, but I find that reminding myself that the temptation will be there helps me out tremendously.

That's great Kevinlyfellow. I think I need to up my raw veggie intake as well. I've been slacking in that department. Best wishes to staying committed to your plan.

Not sure what your eating plan is but I have tried hundreds/thousands/possibly millions of ways to lose weight and the number 1 reason I failed was because of hunger. I eat low carb and do not have hunger. That's not to say I don't ever want to eat the "wrong" thing but when hungry all reason goes out the window! Good luck in finding your "perfect" WOE!
