The past week has been interesting on/off Bontril diet pills. I didn't have the heart palpitations I expected, but I do get an intense methamphetamine feeling. I started on Saturday the 30th. On Tuesday the 2nd I woke up with a very high anxiety level and gave myself the day off the meds. It was good for me. I took yesterday off too because I knew I was going to lunch with my bosses and I didn't want to appear weird or wired on drugs. I ended up over eating Chinese food at lunch (plus a Martini), then chips and piggies in blankets for dinner. Also I got some intense news about a business I'm considering buying and it had my anxiety level at a "10". Turns out I started my P today, so yesterday's indulgences and anxieties all make sense to me now. I do feel a bit aggressive on my meds. I find myself hating the people around me more than usual. But I'm quiet about it. I also feel an intense focus, like I could learn Japanese in one day while on pills. I did pick up playing Ukulele, I'm pretty good!
