I eat the same breakfast almost everyday which saves me a lot of time, since it is almost automatic. I also found that it is great strategy for me to make my food a bit boring and not super tasty so don’t over eat.

Buckwheat Kasha can be found in Polish and Russian supermarkets. It is much tastier than oatmeal and has more nutrients. I add a hard-boiled egg for protein and fat, scallions for immunity, and seaweed salad (I buy it frozen in Chinese stores, 2 pounds for $4), then salt and garlic powder for taste. No oil.
