Berry Well 42's Journal, 10 Aug 24

Today was a hard parenting day. I don't like grounding my son but when character flaws happen that endanger others they have to learn that's not good. I used to hear my mom say when I got grounded this hurts me way more than it hurts you. She was right. It hurt so bad I wanted to cave in but I talked with his Dad and we stayed strong. I hope he learns the lesson early but mostly I hope we doing the right thing. My mom also used to say I love you but I'm your parent first and your friend second. Hits home today. I hope when he looks back on it he sees the love like I am now.


On a happier note, I learned how to use my to go carry cup attachment on my blender. It makes 24 oz of whatever you blend.Today I made a Green Smoothie with Spinach,coconut water and strawberries. Very smooth,refreshing blend. Now all I have to do is get control over my salt intake. I'm going to keep trying. Everything is saved and logged now. I think the trick for me is going to be typing it and creating my meal in the cookbook and making my meals because I'm habitual in my eating so I repeat the same things once I love it.
