Haven’t been on FS in a while. Probably because I haven’t been very serious on this weight loss journey. Tried different things and sometimes the weight goes down but unfortunately not enough to wear the too small for me but oh so cute stuff in my closet I have been holding on to for years. I really want to accomplish my goals in my 40’s, stop the yo yo dieting and feel great about my body! And I know I absolutely can! I know I need to watch my portions, I know I can’t eat too many carbs or I start craving a whole lot of bad stuff and I know I need to keep at it even when the scale isn’t cooperating. I see that a lot of people on FS have made tremendous progress and I figured I should be one of them 😉. Just changed my settings to a “everyone can view” sort of thing so I could become more accountable. Wish me luck!

Good luck!! I did a 1200 calorie diet and 30 minutes exercise a day and lost 42 pounds in 5 months but one of those months I literally only lost 1 lb so I know how disappointing that is but luckily I didn’t give up and I’m getting ready to turn 60 feeling better than I have in years! The calorie tracking on here is so helpful

There's a few good role models on here. Who've had success long term with weight loss. I guess really it comes down to finding what works for you for life. So not a diet... but a lifestyle change. Tracking what you consume daily more times than not is a great tool. I noticed a lot of people on here only track when they feel like it. Or complain of having to track. As if it takes some crazy amount of effort. It takes me less than 5 mins a day to track. It pushed me and helped me lose 131 lbs. Sorry for the rant...🙂Your goal weight isn't that far away. You could honestly be at it by Christmas/New years time frame. It's a matter of picking when and how you want to do it. Then just chiseling away at it day by day. Just wanted to give some insight and encouragement.
