1 week update from increasing my caloric intake. Goal was to increase from ~1,700 to ~2,100. Well that didn’t happen haha. Wasn’t horrible but I averaged 2,400/day over the last 7 days. It’s a slippery slope adding calories back in. Felt like opening the flood gates to making bad decisions. Just felt like, well I’ve got some calories left in the bank, might as well fill that with some ice cream. While my weight only increased .01 lb from day 1 to day 7. I feel heavier, more bloated, I think I just made poor food choices in order to increase my intake. (Also I was sick for 5 of those 7 days so I was definitely reaching for more comfort food than “healthy” food). We’ll see tho, I’m feeling better now, going to give it another week and really try to stay between 2,000-2,200 calories of “good” nutrient dense foods and see where that gets me.
