Back in the day... when I was in college, I would go out with my girlfriends and have way too much to drink. For the most part, my inebriated self was thinking about boys. My libido was intense. It's funny to think about what my inner desires are, and how they have changed.

Now... many years later, my married self thinks completely differently. It took 1 beer last night and I was on the prowl for the perfect bite. My calorie deprived system was VERY susceptible, after 1 beer all my resolve to detox was gone. I should have known. I suppose you could really argue that my resolve was gone before I had the beer. We all know that beer is not included with a detox.

Let's just say that after 3 beers, a fried sampler platter, and several handfuls of my favorite wheat thins dipped in marinara sauce... I'm feeling very puny this morning. Yes, I think that I'm feeling a small case of being hung over. But mostly I think it's a feeling of regret. All that detox to be ruined by one night!

*big sigh* I'm pulling it together. I'm drowning in water today and focusing on lean protein and lots of green. I bet my run today is going to fail. Wednesday's run was really hard for me. Today's is another step up. Maybe some eggs to boost before? IDK. Pull it together woman! Time to regroup.
