4 week update from increasing my caloric intake. Goal this week was to hit an average of 2,500
calories a day. I averaged 2,423 daily calories over the last 7 days (Friday-Thursday). Close enough for me.
Had a total gain of 1lb. I made up the extra calories with sweets and snacks mostly, and have been feeling bloated. So I’m assuming I’m just bloated and holding on to some extra water/waste weight.
Judging off my gain and how I’ve been feeling the past couple days. I’m going to do another week shooting for 2,500 calories a day, just going to try and do it a lot cleaner this week. Less tasty cakes and move fruits/veggies/rice/potatoes. I do want to gain weight but I think I can do it a little more intentional and not making up calories around 8pm with cereal or ice cream.
Week #5 starts today. Going to aim for a daily average of 2,500 “cleaner” calories this week and reevaluate next Friday.
