REALLY? Some of the ads on this site defy good sense. Today I see "cute animal butt cookies." Doesn't Pillsbury know what this site is about? And some the other ones, the blood pressure ones in particular, which show hideous pictures, do they really think I'm going to click through to see more? I'd say more but FS site is barely working for me today. It has taken forever to type just this much.

I agree about the ads but someone said a person normally get ads related to things they have searched but I've not searched the blood pressure ad and I still get it and a few others. Some of the ads I have searched.

Sugar Waffle, what is your secret? LOL @Addie, I don't think these ads relate to anything I've searched, but I do see that happen with my email and with Facebook. Sometimes I think the only purpose of my existence is to be the subject of advertising. There is so very MUCH of it!

I haven't noticed any ads, BUT I did see the bunny butt cookies on FB and was thinking of making for the grandsons. They really are cute, lol...

One of my kids removed them for me. I only know the basic computer skills.

Yes, I did think of that too - make these cute cookies for others. But for some of us that can be just too much temptation. I am becoming aware that in providing goodies for others I might get vicarious pleasure from offering someone something I shouldn't eat. Another "mixed message" item was that Woman's Day magazine always had a pic of some great-looking dessert on the cover while at the same time advertising an article within to "lose 10 lbs by Easter."

You can also drag/resize the window pane to just show the main page ad free content - in the UK at least... I am fortunate as, like Draglist, I have always been able to turn a blind eye to the ads. Trackin64 - Women's Day magazing LOL - missed messages/mixed audience. Reminds me of a recent supermarket trip where the shelves and shelves of butter - all at eye level buy level- were topped off with a couple of rows of Benecol :D

I get one small Amazon ad on my Food and Exercise Diary pages, but it is only stuff I have been researching on Google.
