Try doubling your servings of veggies: If you normally eat one cup of salad, go for two. Halve the amount of meat you use in recipes, and double the amount of veggies and legumes (or add them if they're not there). For example, instead of using two pounds of ground beef in a chili recipe, use one pound and double up on onions, peppers, mushrooms, cans of chili beans, etc. Eat fruit at breakfast, have it at snacks and have it in place of a sugary dessert.
