Bad day yesterday, feeling under the weather a bit maybe a summer cold coming on. I skipped my workout after work but took the dog for a mile and a halfish walk after dinner which made him happy.
Back at it today scheduled for day three of week seven of the Couch to 5K program I've been trying to complete. Pretty sure I hadn't run 25 consecutive minutes since Navy boot camp in 1984 and I've done it twice this week. Hard to believe I thought running for three minutes straight was difficult just a last month.

I just completed day 2 of week 4 of the Couch to 5K! I have registered for a race on 1 Oct and I am determined to run the entire distance. While I cannot physically do it yet, I can at least conceive of success now. Keep it up!

I still don't like to run for more than .75 miles straight yet I completed a 1/2 marathon last month. Isn't it a awesome feeling to see improvements?

Good Luck to you Izzy, it's been a challenging but rewarding program for me. I'm not a runner by nature or desire but decided to attempt the program after seeing it online.
Ches that's an amazing accomplishment! You never cease to amaze me Brother.
HCB- You have done awesome as well, your accomplishments are a great example to anyone fighting this battle.

Great comeback OW, I read your profile and it must have been a struggle at times wondering if things would ever heal and get better. I might be picking your brain later this year...I'm presently working through a torn rotator cuff issue in the left shoulder. Take care, hope you have a great weekend!!
