Day 2 of the "New Me". Decided I really needed to hold myself accountable. I just found out last night that my BFF of 35 years checked herself into a treatment center for alcoholism. Wow, what a shock! I'm so glad she is doing something for herself and taking care of her issues. I am fully supporting her and when reflecting on the things I said to her, it hit me that I need to talk nicely to myself.. I need to practice what I preach. I need to love me! So today at work when I was asked to go for a walk, I promptly stopped what I was doing and got up and did a lap around the building. It was SOOO good to talk with my work friend who has been struggling with her weight. I have been avoiding "the talk" and admitting I put on 10 lbs. I need to focus on the fact that I have NOT smoked in 3 months. I got this! :-)
