Missed a journal entry yesterday - Oh Well.
I had a GREAT run last night. Longest distance and fasted pace since getting back to working out. Ran just shy of 3 miles (2.96) and did that at a 14:11 pace. I know that is not blistering, but I have come a long way in a month. I got to run with my daughter (she is usually busy with school or boyfriend) - great time.
I am still following my diet.
My sugars are definitely up, I suspect the diabetes doctor is going to put me back on some medicine next week. I will keep plugging away, maybe I can get them down in time to keep her at bay.
Finally, I am taking 3 days off work. I am headed to visit my folks in CO. Travel tonight, come home Sunday night. Tonight and Sunday will be the diet challenge - long travel times are hard on the diet. Airports and long drives really test the will power.
I intend to run in CO, which should really tax the lungs of this Texas boy.
